Sijbe Knol was installed as FNP-Minister in the Frisian Parliament on 19 July 2023.
Sijbe Knol is politically responsible for the remits of spatial planning, housing, energy, quality of life and culture. These are remits that suit FNP well. Sijbe Knol is the person who has to ensure that our landscape and space will remain “our gold.” In cooperation with the municipalities he is working towards achieving that in all towns and villages houses can built for our inhabitants, according to the local scale and character. “Free to live where you want.” Moreover, it is his job to sustain and improve the quality of life, in collaboration with the Frisian population and the cultural sector.
